Welcome to Troop 201

Welcome to the Scout BSA Troop 201 website

Scout BSA Troop 201 is chartered by and meets at New Providence Church on the border of Fayetteville & Peachtree City, GA. We believe in the "Boy Led" leadership principle of Scouting in which the boys lead the troop, plan the events and elect their own leadership. By granting autonomy, giving respect, bestowing responsibility and encouraging leadership, we have become one of the fastest growing troops in the Council. Our scouts are Prepared for Life™.  Read the "About Us" section to learn more about our troops membership requirements.

How Do I Join Scouts BSA Troop 201?

Scout BSA Troop 201 is for boys ages 11 - 17 (Grades 5 - 12). For more information please feel free to come to a scout meeting or drop the Scout Master an email at: scoutmaster@ptctroop201.org

This way the Dive Center volunteers aren't waiting for scouts to show up.  Kim from the Dive Center will hold a briefing at the outside picnic tables at 7:00pm. Camp Cards are HERE!

Posted on Feb 18 2023 - 9:39pm

Camp Cards are here!!!

Mrs. Manuel (Seth’s mom) has graciously volunteered to be the Troop’s new Camp Card Chair.  She will be the main contact for Camp Cards.

Give Mrs. Manuel a little time to get situated in her new position before you start requesting your Camp Cards.

We do have a small amount of Coweta Camp Cards, so if you want a couple of those, just let her know.

Remember, we don’t want any cards coming back.  Get out there and sell them!  They sell themselves.  You just got to show people what a value they are!

There is a Sign Up Genius to sell in front of a few stores in the area.  Girl Scouts are out there too selling cookies in front of the same stores.  Be respectful and share the space with them if you are selling in front of stores.

When you hand in your money, have you parents write out a check to Troop 201 and give them the cash you made on the sale of the cards.

Good luck and sell, sell, SELL!
